Courses which may be offered include: Introduction to Childcare (Accredited), The CGEA - equivalent to Yr 10 Cert intro to food preperation and service "Fiddling with sound" an intro to sound engineering creative arts and scrapbooking. Participants are given the opportunity to: develop new skills, increase self esteem and confidence Develop literacy and numeracy skills develop individual goals that link them to recognised education or training pathways. Participants for help can be self referred, or referred by a community agency. Referral forms can be obtained by email or fax.

The links to learning programs are funded by the community programs section of the NSW department of education and training. The Links to learning program is for young people still at school, in years 7 - 10. The program is specially designed to enable them to be more fully engaged at school, to help them overcome any barriers to learning, to develop their resilience to lifes ups and downs, and to increase their ability to achieve goals. Young people attend one day per week for two school terms. Participants for links to learning need to be referred through the head teacher of welfare at their school. Our partner schools are: Wyong High, Wadalba Community High, Northlakes High and Lake Munmorah High.

An educational scholarship providing financial support to participants for items such as uniforms, stationery, books, camps and excursions. Educational programs such as learning clubs and reading support are available at some locations. Support is offered for children of any abilities as long as they regularly attend school and try their best. Our program also provides the support of learning for life worker for all participating families. Referrals by referring partners necessary. For a list of referral partners please contact your local learning for life worker. Eligibility must be in possession of a pension or a health care card. Children must be attending school regularly. Age range kindergarten to post secondary. Major recruitment target group is primary (learning for life). Financial literacy 18 years+ volunteering opportunities clerical\admin duties, some opportunities exist working directly with children in specific programs. All volunteers must undergo a full working with children clearance. Geographic region served within the Central Coast where learning for life offices are situated.
